Kim Spirou – Humanitarian trip to Africa

Villagers in Ghana rarely get to see a doctor. Most cannot afford the cost of health insurance and medicines are expensive. Sadly many villagers, most of the children, die from preventable and treatable illnesses.  Our 2017 mission team included a doctor, a third year medical student, a dentist and allied health professionals. They treated hundreds of villages in various outstations, clinics and hospitals — saving many lives along the way. Take a peek at these photos of Dr. Chris Spirou, Alexandra Spirou,Dr. Noel Jackson and Germaine Gould who spent hours in stifling heat caring for the sick and infirm.  Essex Rotary president Kim Spirou joined the group traveling to Ghana.  Kim and the Rotary team gave out life saving mosquito nets.
