One of the very important Rotary projects is the eradication of polio by raising funds and delivering the vaccination where it is needed.  Today we are extremely close to completely eliminating this horrible disease.

Rotary Club of Essex hosted an evening World Polio Day fundraiser on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Essex United Church. The community was invited to come out for pizza and pasta and to learn about polio and how we are “this close” to ridding the world of this preventable disease.
